Dr Helene Thiollet is a graduate from the Ecole normale supérieure (Ulm), holds degrees in Classics and Geography and a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po. Her research focuses on the Middle East, Africa and the politics of migration and asylum in the Global South. She worked extensively in Yemen, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Syria. She teaches international relations and migration studies, is Research partner at the International Migration Institute at Oxford university and she is a board member of IR Journal in French, Critique internationale.
