About
Lara Maestripieri is visiting scholar at Sciences Po, attached at Centre d'études européennes. She also is teaching and working as a researcher at the Social Policy Lab – Polytechnic of Milan.
Main research interests deal with narrative and biographical methods in the social research and investigation of post-industrial societies, with a focus on analysis of female participation to labour market, precariousness and professional identity of knowledge workers.
She has won a grant to collaborate in the project « FLOWS – Impact of local welfare systems on female labour force participation and social cohesion » (www.flows-eu.eu), financed by European Union – Seventh Framework Program (2007 to 2013).
She teaches sociology of post-industrial society at Polytechnic of Milan.
In 2011 she has become PhD Doctor, thanks to a thesis entitled “The liminal condition of consultancy. Tales of work between self-employment and organization”. In 2010 she has been visiting researcher at department of Sociology, in Geneva. She has a Master degree in Theory and Social Research at Catholic University of Milan.
